Ink Beetle Derm Gel is a dermal gel for the aftercare of fresh body tattoos, designed to go on wet and dry within minutes into a clear, breathable barrier over tattooed skin. This protective layer helps keep the tattoo covered from dirt and bacteria without adhesives, tape, or gauze, making it a practical alternative to traditional adhesive films for professional tattoo aftercare.
Its lightweight, non greasy formula helps hydrate, soothe, and protect the skin during the first days of tattoo recovery. It contains ingredients such as aloe, shea butter, coconut oil, rosemary extract, lavender oil, allantoin, and other skin conditioning components. Available in 20 ml Packet, 3.4 oz Tube, and 8.27 oz Tube, it fits both individual client aftercare and professional studio use.
When to use it? Use it during the body tattoo aftercare stage, after finishing the session and cleaning the tattooed area. First, let the fresh tattoo rest for 5 to 10 minutes so the skin can create a clean, dry surface. Then apply a thin layer directly over the clean tattooed area, let it dry for a few minutes, and keep it on for 2 to 24 hours, repeating the application as needed. To remove it, gently wash with warm water or peel it from the skin, although washing is the recommended method.
