ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Packer
The Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Packer is a professional wireless tattoo machine that combines the Power Wand platform with an integrated LED lighting system built directly into the machine. The Packer version uses a fixed 4.2 mm stroke designed for color packing, color realism, ink saturation, traditional tattooing, and both fine and bold linework. It features a German made Faulhaber motor engineered to deliver the responsive performance needed for tattoo techniques that require consistent pigment delivery and a firm, controlled hit throughout professional tattoo sessions.
A defining feature of the Bishop Power Wand XLUMEN Packer is its integrated LED lighting system, which directs light toward the tattooing area around the cartridge. The illumination passes through a specialized diffuser within the grip, distributing light evenly and helping reduce strong shadows and glare on the skin. Artists can select from four lighting settings using the control located on top of the battery: low warm light, high warm light, low cool light, and high cool light. These options allow the lighting to be adjusted to different studio conditions while maintaining clear visibility around the cartridge tip during tattoo procedures.
The XLUMEN platform also features a 37 mm grip diameter, providing a wider gripping surface than the original 31 mm Power Wand profile while creating space for the integrated lighting system. The machine is compatible with Bishop XLUMEN Disposable Grips, which are specifically designed to allow the built in lighting to pass through their integrated diffuser. These disposable grips feature an ergonomic 40 mm profile, a textured medical grade rubber exterior, a durable plastic core, and a slip resistant surface. They are compatible with most cartridge needle systems and are individually packaged and EO gas sterilized for professional tattoo use.
The wireless system operates with XLUMEN Advanced 2300 mAh batteries developed to support the additional power requirements of the integrated lighting system. The Full Set includes two 2300 mAh batteries, a Critical Snap Docking Station, charging cable, power adapter, and a sample pack containing four XLUMEN Disposable Grips. XLUMEN batteries are not interchangeable with Power Wand Advanced batteries because the two platforms use different contact diameters and have different electrical requirements. This configuration combines wireless mobility, direct illumination of the tattoo area, ergonomic handling, and the performance characteristics of the Packer platform in a system designed for professional tattoo workflows.
