About Saniderm
Saniderm is a tattoo aftercare brand known for its adhesive tattoo film, a clear bandage that covers a fresh tattoo after the session. SVT Shop carries Saniderm film in rolls, so a studio can cut each piece to fit the tattoo.
What the film is
Our Saniderm listings describe a transparent, breathable adhesive film with moisture resistance and long-wear coverage, clear enough that the artist can see the tattoo through it. Saniderm's own site sells its bandages both as rolls and as pre-cut packs, in several widths and lengths.
Saniderm at SVT Shop
- 10.2 inch x 8 yard roll: the widest and longest roll we carry, for large pieces and for studios that wrap many tattoos.
- 6 inch x 8 yard roll: a narrower roll for smaller tattoos and narrow areas such as forearms and calves.
- 10.2 inch x 2 yard roll: the wide width in a shorter length, which Saniderm's site lists as its Personal size.
All three are in Bandages & Protective Films, and they also appear in Skin Care and with all tattoo supplies.
Saniderm FAQ
How long should I leave Saniderm on? That depends on the product directions and your artist. Follow the product label and your artist's aftercare instructions.
Which roll should I buy? Match the width to the tattoo: the 10.2 inch roll for large pieces and the 6 inch roll for smaller areas. Cut the film larger than the tattoo so it overlaps onto clean skin around it.
